In his article "Homelessness,
Poverty and Discrimination: Improving Public Health by Realising Huamn Rights"
(2005), Philip Lynch asserts that there are communications between homelessness,
poverty, and discrimination and poor health. Lynch supports his claims about
these connections by providing how the homelessness have became a
socio-economic problem in their troubles to improve their health. His purpose in
writing this article is to inform the American culture the discrimination with
in the poor community is subject to their lack of advancement. He seems to have
a argumentative approach to this topic, and a adequate tone to portray his
seriousness about the topic.
