article 4:Homelessness

In her article "Jones v. City of Los Angeles: A Moral Response to One City’s Attempt to Criminalize, Rather than Confront, Its Homelessness Crisis" (2007, Sarah Gerry asserts that discrimination within our criminal system is a becoming a big problem. Gerry supports her claim by introducing her readers about a court trial that was in session to try to prohibit any individual from being stationed on the street. Her purpose in writing this article how peoples objective to removing homeless people is becoming the center of discrimination on their behalf. Her tone is very argumentative as she tries to advocate for homeless people.
