In Joe
Marshall Hardin’s book “Choices 2.0 Situations for College Writing” (2010), he
addresses the critical elements in an argumentative paper that are necessary to
get your point across to the reader. Hardin supports his information by
including examples used on news channels and other rhetorical pieces of writing.
His purpose is to address the correct ways to go about persuading someone when
arguing your point of view. He seems to have a professional tone that is
directing to students that are learning to write argumentative papers.
