As intriguing as Obama and Romney were in the presidential
debate held in Denver, Romney was more successful at accomplishing victory
within the debate. The parts that were
most interesting where those where Romney would successfully satisfy a
question, where as Obama would go around the question by using strategies such
as, explaining was the question entails or what would happen if we continue to
go on using the same resources. In this debate, Obama failed to represent his
plans by failing to back them up with explanations. People would argue that
Romney was to forceful in getting his points across, and that he didn’t follow
proper guidelines for a professional debate. However, I felt that Romney used
this technique to show that he was the most qualified candidate. The strategy mad
him seem like that candidate who was more familiar with society and one that is
more positive that his plans would work if we elected him. I do agree that
Romney should have considered the timing of his agreements more, however, I
feel like this would of just contributed more time for Obama to not answer the
questions he was asked. Also, Obama would continue trying to rebuttal Romney by
brings up acquisitions about his plans. Once Romney refuted these arguments and
said they were false, Obama continued trying to use them. Romney was
outstanding during the debate, while Obama seemed a little uncomfortable to me.
