This video had me laughing!!! I
love the humor that the man played into making his point. Beyond all the jokes,
I personally feel like its wrong to edit this book. Mark Twain book should be
left alone because it’s a source of our history. Back when this book was
written it was common to call black nigger. By editing this word out, we are
erasing one of the obstacles that blacks had to overcome. In todays society we
can compare how far the blacks have progress since that time of this era. We no
long go around degrading blacks with such of an offensive word. History is
meaningful in a manor that we can look back and see how things use to be, and
what successful things we did to overcome obstacles. By editing the book we are
taking about from knowledge.

definition paragraph
Definition paragraph:
In this
article, Blow speaks against banning or restricting our rights to bare arms. He
writes about our past restrictions by introducing the assault weapons ban. The
assault weapons ban is a law that prohibits anyone from owning any
semiautomatic assault weapons.
Blow also state “We shouldn’t simply wait for the bodies to fall
to separate the wheat from the chaff”, meaning that we shouldn’t need tragedies
to happen in order for Americans to wake up and realize that we need restrictions,
and laws.

intro project 2
In a recent article by Charles Blow, he depicts
the fear that American have on a right that may be dwindling. After the aurora
shooting much controversy has been up for debate as to what the right and ethical
way to go about settling this gun problem in America. Blow Suggest that Americans
have no reason to be scared because Obama has no intentions of making gun laws
more severe. Charles Blow actually leans more toward having the opportunity of
owning a gun, and claims that he has been raised around them. Blow uses rhetorical
strategy to enlighten his audience of his view on the gun policies in American,
and shed light on a false rumor of Obama being against citizens having guns.

Debate
As intriguing as Obama and Romney were in the presidential
debate held in Denver, Romney was more successful at accomplishing victory
within the debate. The parts that were
most interesting where those where Romney would successfully satisfy a
question, where as Obama would go around the question by using strategies such
as, explaining was the question entails or what would happen if we continue to
go on using the same resources. In this debate, Obama failed to represent his
plans by failing to back them up with explanations. People would argue that
Romney was to forceful in getting his points across, and that he didn’t follow
proper guidelines for a professional debate. However, I felt that Romney used
this technique to show that he was the most qualified candidate. The strategy mad
him seem like that candidate who was more familiar with society and one that is
more positive that his plans would work if we elected him. I do agree that
Romney should have considered the timing of his agreements more, however, I
feel like this would of just contributed more time for Obama to not answer the
questions he was asked. Also, Obama would continue trying to rebuttal Romney by
brings up acquisitions about his plans. Once Romney refuted these arguments and
said they were false, Obama continued trying to use them. Romney was
outstanding during the debate, while Obama seemed a little uncomfortable to me.
